Why not participate in the Junior Session ?
Astronomical Society of Japan organizes a Junior Session during the semi-annual
conference of the Society so that junior high and senior high school students
can make their own presentations as part of the conference.
Following are the main objectives.
- To activate their studies or research activities for astronomy
- To know the real astronomy and to feel the delight of astronomy
- To experience the forefront of astronomy
People talk about students increasingly shying away from science subjects.
However, we do not think that students have lost interests in science.
We hope that through this junior session a little more students may become
interested in astronomy and science in general.
4th Junior Session - Announcement
Astronomical Society of Japan will hold the 4th Junior Session during the spring
semi-annual conference in 2002.
One of the objectives of the session is to let students learn a little more about
the present astronomy and enjoy it.
If you have ever done anything relating to astronomy we would very much like you
to participate.
