Concerning the Current Situation in Ukraine
I am deeply concerned by the current situation in Ukraine, which is an intolerable violation of human rights. As an astronomer engaged in academic research that resolves problems through free and open discussion, I hope that dialogue will swiftly lead to a peaceful solution.
